Swedish massage was developed in the 1700's by a Swedish doctor
named Per Henrik Ling.
The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques
specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them
against deeper muscles and bones, rubbing in the same direction
as the flow of blood returning to the heart. It is relaxing, invigorating
and affects the nerves, muscles, glands and circulation, while promoting
health and well-being.
Benefits of Swedish Massage
- Relieves muscle tension
- Improves blood flow and circulation
- Stimulates and improves lymphatic drainage
- Improves muscle tone
- Improves mobility in stiff joints
- Revitalises the whole body

Gill Robertson (Mar )
Reflexologist And Scenar Practitioner
Gill trained in reflexology at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton where she qualified in February 2001.
In 2002 she took further training in Scenar Therapy which is a non invasive electronic biofeedback
treatment developed and widely acclaimed in Russia over 25 years ago and used extensively for
pain relief and numerous physical conditions.
Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet and
hands which relate to every part of the body. A professionally trained reflexologist can detect subtle
changes, tiny deposits and imbalances in specific points on the feet, and by working on these points
with pressure and massage, can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the body.
The therapy brings relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions such as arthritis, back pain,
digestive disorders, chronic fatigue, sports injuries, infertility, hormonal imbalances, stress related
conditions and many more conditions.
Scenar (Self-controlled Energo-Neuro Adaptive Regulator)
The Scenar (Self-controlled Energo-Neuro Adaptive Regulator) is a hand-held device developed 25 years
ago in Russia by a team of international scientists, quantum physicists and doctors, only recently
becoming available in this country. It works by stimulating the nervous system naturally and safely
on a biofeedback mechanism, helping the body to release its own pharmacy of neuropeptides
(the body's own healing agents). The Scenar locates negative energy signals from cells in muscle
and nerve tissues and modifes them with correctional signals, and is able to provide pain relief,
regulate body functions, tune the metabolism, reduce inflammation, swelling and allergic reactions
and boost the immune system.
Case studies have shown substantial success in treating conditions as wide as Arthritis, Angina,
Asthma, Back Pain, Broken Bones, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Cystitis, Dental Pain, Digestive Problems,
Eczema, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Infertility, Infections, Sports Injuries,
Stress/depression, Neuralgia, Osteoporosis, PMT/Menopause, Repetitive Strain Injury, Sciatica,
Scoliosis, Stress and Whiplash. Scenar has also been tried and tested in the sports field not
only for injury but also as prevention and as a boost for optimal performance in athletes,
above and beyond normal expectation.

Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional Therapy is a natural healthcare system that the helps
the individual achieve optimum health through the use of individually

Nutritional therapists often work with patients who have chronic
health problems that conventional medicine finds difficult to treat.
These include allergies, digestive and bowel disorders, hormonal
imbalances, fatigue, depression or stress, auto-immune conditions,
migraine and skin disorders. Everyone can benefit from nutritional
therapy from babies to the elderly and everyone in between!
Eat well, live well and enjoy living
Pippa has had a lifelong passion for food, cooking and the benefits
of a healthy, interesting and varied diet. Her personal experience
of the advantages of a varied diet based on the principle of wholesome
and unadulterated foods, prompted her to train as Nutritional Therapist.
Her goal is for everyone to "Eat well, live well and enjoy
living".
